Unexpected journeys of discovery and wonder are our answer to the brick and mortar conglomerates which have basically controlled publishing in America. As the I Ching teaches, the only constant is change. And Treasure Chest Press is part of this change. Where the publishing industry has been too long in the hands of the self-selected, “cultivated” few, Treasure Chest Press strives to return control to the actual authors and YOU, the reader.
We intend to explore the curious by-ways ignored by the “mainstream” as either too innovative, too esoteric, or too erotic. The press intends to present inclusive material which recognizes the rich composition and tapestry of this miraculous country we live in—from multiple ethnic groups to cultural and religious beliefs and practices.
But most importantly, we seek feedback about what YOU, the reader, want to read. And we hope you will help us select which books we publish.
We want to know what and how we are doing, as we take the point of view that WE (that is, both us and you) are in this together.
We are slow.
We are esoteric.
We are unconventional.
We are an eccentric lunatic and a 20-something whose only goal is to retire.
But we are also meticulous.
Presently lunatic out of asylum.
So please, feel free to climb on board. You’re not alone.
